The mashup I found was 360 cities. I looked at Chicago. There were links to museums, theaters, churches and other attractions. The site combined Google Maps and photos to give 360 degree views of the city.
As far as the searchrolls, they were not very specific for privacy. I never did find one that talked about privacy, even when I searched within the blog for the word privacy.

Podcasting and Online Hosted Video
I enjoyed YouTube. It was my very first experience. I especially enjoyed the librarian videos - ranging from a cheer to a song to superlibrarian. It's interesting to see how libraries are using podcasts and online videos. I was not able to get the UT Memphis podcast to work which surprised me because it is one that I can use at work and have looked at before. Must be something missing from my computer. The other podcast from U Va was good. I will go back to both YouTube and the podcast. I also enjoyed using Odeo. There is such a variety of available podcasts.

Online Photo Sharing
This is something I can use in my personal life but it is not something that would be used frequently in my professional role. It could be used to share pictures of library events, though we don't have many of those and perhaps it could be used to train volunteers how to do a task if you took pictures of the different steps. You could give instructions in the description.
I was not able to get the pictures uploaded on my blog - perhaps they were too large.

Web Office Tools
Another great tool that will be very useful.
Is this the future of all software products? What do you think?
While I find this very useful, I'm not sure that all software products should go this way. There are many times that it would be helpful but often there are documents that don't require collaboration. In most business situations, Microsoft Office is going to be the product of choice for quite some time. As others have said, it is also not optimal to have to be online at all times when editing a document. It also does not seem to be very easy to upload a document - at least I had problems. And I could not get registered for Microsoft Office Live at all. It did not like any of my e-mail addresses.

Social Bookmarking
This is the best of the tools so far in my opinion. I can see many uses for it in the library setting, though, again I won't be able to use it. The CiteULike and Connotea sites could be very useful for the researchers at my facility. It's also great to be able to have access to your favorites from anywhere. This is something that I will use often.
Social Networking
How can social networking be used by MLA to connect members?
I can see that some of the tools we used could be useful in connecting members of MLA. New members could be paired up with mentors on Facebook or Linkedin.
Should your library have a Facebook or MySpace page?
I'm not sure how useful either a Facebook or a MySpace page would be, but since the VA is not going to let me have one, it really does not matter. It is useful to know about this though.
Are there privacy concerns for individuals when using social networking sites.
There are definitely privacy concerns. I found out a lot more about one of the people who I added as a friend than I really am comfortable knowing.
What did you like or not like about your experience with Facebook or MySpace.
I was able to find someone who I have not been in contact with for many years on Facebook. I sent her a message and will see if I get a message back. I really was not very comfortable with some of the content that I found on these sites. Perhaps it's because I am basically a private person and don't want or need to know that much about someone who I only know slightly.
